THE CHALLENGE
Financial literacy is an essential part of life, and something many Canadians lack – especially kids. Parents are stressed out by the pressure of teaching their kids about money and the fear of failing. So, we set out to change the way Canadian parents and kids deal with money.

THE SOLUTION
We built Mydoh. The digital money app and smart cash card that empowers kids to learn, earn, and spend – smarter.

Mydoh is the first product of its kind in Canada, so we created a brand new kind of brand. One that resonates with parents and kids. We created a series of Youtube ads and TV spots that reached people all across Canada. We dropped billboards in targeted Toronto neighbourhoods, and ran paid ads on major social platforms.

THE RESULTS
Mydoh’s bold messaging, bright colours, and youthful design resonated with Canadian parents and their kids in a BIG way. We got 8MM+ views on YouTube, increased daily acquisitions by 176%, and earned 23.8MM media impressions. Now, 1 in 4 Canadians knows about Mydoh, and it’s transforming young people’s relationship with money.

THE RECOGNITION
And as an added bonus, we won Mydoh’s (and RBCx’s) very first advertising award – a CMA, Silver in the Financial Brand Building category.
